Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Well if we look in the past from LEGO universe, you got the alpha key from the LEGO kids inner circle, and you got the closed beta key from the twitter page.
Well right now there is no LKIC,and so really our only hope is that we alpha test through funcom's or LEGO's twitter page.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
It was only on Twitter because of a mean employee that didn't care if he was fired from LEGO or not. Funcom is a big company so they'll do it a proper way. And since LKIC is dead, it may come in the LEGO email newsletters or MLN.

I doubt it would be through the newsletter, way to many people. They have to come up with a more exclusive way.

Porbably the funcom website or something to where you can apply. Not a whole lot of LEGO fans check funcom.

I figure it'll be a closed beta and alpha so it won't be too "private". Newsletters would work the best, IMO. But then again, an Alpha in a newsletter might now the the best... I have no idea...

I hope it's not like a big invitation where a bunch of people jump on it and know about it,and they accept only a few. That might ruin my chances....

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
It's not going to be like that, from what I know. I believe it's going to be a Friends and Family type Alpha. Which gives everyone much worse chances, because you'll have to know an employee or have a friend that does to get in..steelersrule12 wrote:I hope it's not like a big invitation where a bunch of people jump on it and know about it,and they accept only a few. Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Or Fun-Com, which i think we have even less of a chance of...
If you find somebody, Mention me! I sooooooooo would like to be an Alpha Tester.
It might not be LU, but it still is LEGO! which means it is Cool!

It doesn't work that way. If there was someone, they can't just refer people left and right..Nenen wrote:Or Fun-Com, which i think we have even less of a chance of...

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
I have news!
i went to the LEGO store on Tuesday, to get the monthly-mini-build, and i dicided to ask about the LEGO MMOG, the cashier told me that it was a city based game, and that it was open-world, but not as open-world as minecraft, and he said there will be easy quests like LU except not as epic but more city fun, and he said that was all LEGO said.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Another thing is that funcom has been great at making games with epic quests and missions, and LEGO universe although had great achievements and how that was laid out,it didn't have a great missions system. So for this new game to have a worse missions and quests system then LU would be absolutely terrible. Funcom said that the new game will be tightly focused gameplay,so i think that employee was talking about the LEGO city undercover game.

Do you think that it will be open world though? Those games are the best! Love the new look by the way!
