LEGO Minifigures Online

Somehow they have an idea. Maybe an "Upgrade" or "Premium Currency" etc

Those never seem to work though. LU tried that and nobody got the game. You have to have a REALLY good reason for people to buy the game, which kinda defeats the purpose of free to play.

Hopefully it will be free2play and subscription,or free2play,premium,and subscription. I would HATE if they had an ingame store or buy ingame currency with real money!!!

By the way,they moved the 3rd quarter report another week,so instead of it being this Friday,we have to wait like 13 days for more info.

NetDevil only made Flash Website games they didn't make MMOGs before LEGO Universe. Then LEGO hired them and then bought the whole company. LEGO overpriced their game at launch, but it backfired and the game closed.

Lets hope that funcom's experience helps in this game. Although i am a little concerned that funcom doesn't care much about this game,and they are treating it like just another free2lay. They have put very little info out on it and they are always talking about the secret world in everything.

We need to show that this is a big deal to Us LEGO fans. So they would work harder. Maybe

Did you guys read there twitter post? Someone posted about the new LEGO game and they replied on November 5th saying they are looking forward to revealing more info on the game. Nothing yet but i predict that after the next presentation report comes out in 11 days they will start to reveal more info.

I wonder when LEGO will make a page for the MMOG.

My guess is that they will be posting concept art on LEGO.com and in LEGO Club very soon, maybe even next issue for those who get it. I have LEGO mags from 2008 showing LU concept art, which was roughly 2 years before the release of LU, which is where we are for the new MMOG. Also, do they have a name yet?

Well IGM.com says LEGO Minifigures Online. and i think the Report from Fun-Com says so too.

I wish that i started the LEGO mags sooner it just kept slipping my mind back then.

They really need a better name. We should hold a contest of name for the MMOG and the best one we send to funcom and to LEGO. Maybe they wouldn't listen to us which is most likely, but its worth try right? I mean LEGO Mini figure online? Is that dum or what?

You're just rushing this too much. The Secret World is their new game. The Minifigs MMO is still in Early Development. They are probably still sketching concept art and modeling minifigures and such. As Sensei Wu says "Patience..."

Uhh, it is a temporary name for development. LEGO minifigures Online is not final. It'll probably be called Minifigure Land or something cool.


On another note, my guess is that they won't post so much concept art like they did with LU. Funcom is a professional MMOG company and they don't let fans see their stuff early so the fans get super excited and more people play the game just to see what it's like.

I agree with that,they are professional. Still though,we are like a year away from this game and there has be no info on it. They need to post SOMETHING,but on the flip side,they have given us 2 things of info,whereas LEGO has given us nothing,if anything,we need to pressure LEGO for info,not funcom.

two things, one, that would not be nice, nobody likes being pressured, and two, they would probably not give us info, that would be like rewarding bad behavior, I don't think that will happen, maybe this is a teaching moment to teach us patience.

i sure hope that they would have a Different name for it. cause it seems like a Silly name for a good game (It should be a good game anyway!)

Well we will just have to wait and see next Friday.

What's next Friday? And if it is what I think it is, how do you know that they will talk about LEGO land? (LEGO Land is my new name for the game!)

LEGO Land? LEGOLAND is an ammusement park in California, Flordia, Billund, and other places. Plus, LEGO already made a game named LEGOLAND. See
here. It'll be something related to the Minifigures line though, and it cannot be boring either, so it'll have a good storyline. They'll probably name it something related to the storyline like "Heroes and Bricks".

Next Friday is when we get new info on the game.

Yeah unfortunately we have to wait 10 days. But still,ONLY 10 DAYS!

We had to wait 2-4 months for update on LU, I'd say we had it pretty good, wouldn't you?
