LEGENDS OF CHIMA ONLINE TO CLOSE JUNE 1ST
Well, if you haven't heard...it is closing .
So...this means not one but two LEGO MMO's have closed. Yes, it was based of one storyline and toy line but still. So I want to hear some opinions on this.
For myself, this is going to show that LEGO MMO's are harder to keep. Their games do fantastic. I honestly think that is why LU did better than both Chima and my guess is the Minifigure game. It has the similar engine as any of their games. Besides that I think LEGO just can't win with MMO's. I find it interesting. Any one else?

I think LEGO could win with MMOs, I just don't think they know what they are doing. The Chima MMO was destined for failure, because Chima was a forced-popularity line, it wasn't really successful, it was just that LEGO invested too much money into it to drop it. LEGO is doing their MMOs wrong, they are treating them like product lines that are easily removable. People are not going to trust LEGO with the game business if they keep this up.

Yes, LEGO is totally clueless. But they're looking to improve and I definitely believe the games that will come out in the years to follow will be excellent.
