If my first post wasn't indicative enough, allow me to clarify: He did tell me about it (and apparently Sim as well), and he has a legit reason for mostly keeping quiet about it.

As others have been saying above, I happen to know what Neal means and he has a completely valid reason for not saying anything. I feel that anybody who underestimates what Neal has been saying shall be most pleasantly surprised although they may possibly have a tinge of regret.

Well all of this just points to the info being about the date of closed beta testing, and according to neal it's apparently before August 30th. Which explains why the "select few" aren't saying anything right now but allude to the fact that they "will" tell us at some point, indicating they will tell us once they have already signed up and make sure they have a seat in closed beta.

Well then if not the date then the location of closed beta, because many hints point toward closed beta in some way.

Speaking of this discussion, I just recently found out the closed beta date of the game. Still checking with the guy on the validity of this info but it makes sense.

Well I am going to wait until the guy gets back to me to know for SURE. So I'm not just starting a rumor. Also seeing how everyone else is keeping quiet about their info, it makes sense to hold onto mine for a little bit.

As long as you can the put the source of were the information got, and if it is from a reliable source, do it not necceserly has to start a rumour. If you do not put the source, could there be a chance that your information could be incorrect, however i let the information speak for itself.

Yeah they sometimes announce a few things or even put out a trailer right before the convention, like what a lot of people did at comic-con. Basically you get news before, during, and after the convention!
