Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Not sure, though i wouldn't count on it considering they are striving for the graphics of LU,and not taking the time that netdevil did with LU. Add that on top of the "tightly focused gameplay" statement,i don't see it being open world.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
I was just wondering, I don't play a whole ton of games but wouldn't it be confusing to not have an open world, especially if it was muliplayer? You would have to have some kind of open world any way, or at least that is how LEGO has always done it in the past.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Open world meaning it has A LOT of space in all direction, like minecraft. But games like LU you had certain areas you traveled to,it wasn't open in all directions.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
OHHH! I thought open world meant that there are no levels, just free roam with missions, like in LU, that was what I was referring to in my last comment! Thanks for explaining that!

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Actually, Open World does mean one big world. IDK the name of a game what the heck lots of worlds. But hopefully, they won't put in too many pre-defined paths for the player to walk on like in Avant Gardens in LU. Did you notice there was a different texture where they wanted you to walk? It wasn't too fun that way...

If the MMOG will be as cool as LEGO city Undercover looks, then it is going to be a good game! and i can't wait!
and if it is. then it will be Open world

The last report said that it will be collection based, do you think that means it will have a story behind it?

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Well i hope that it has a very unique missions system, but i also want them to make it so that people can hangout and do things together in teams and in minigames,it seemed likein LU the only time people came together was to buy and sell rares.
Edit: Yes i am sure they will have a storyline, that would be the case because they said "tightly focused gamesplay".

What will we be tightly focused on as game player, though? And if we are so focused we have a low chance of just hanging out except for business reasons.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Well it all depends on how well they do the teams and if they have a good chat system.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Yes i so agree. they need an In-game "Team/Group thing." plus REASONS to be around an just Chat, and have fun. Lots of them and lots of ways, Also you should have Clubhouses for the teams that are "Approved"steelersrule12 wrote:Well i hope that it has a very unique missions system, but i also want them to make it so that people can hangout and do things together in teams and in minigames,it seemed likein LU the only time people came together was to buy and sell rares.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
Well because LEGO wanted the MMOG to be made by somebody who knew how to make them.

Re: LEGO Minifigures Online
But they had a lot less Exp, PLUS some things could have been a lot better! and etc. Many improvements would have been there If they had more EXP.
Fun-Com has that, and LEGO THIS TIME is going to try for a Bigger & Better game.
And funcom may make that possible!

Agreed. One thing that could have been improved on is the pricing of the game.

Which one? the Free-to-play, or About why they chose Fun-Com? or something else?
