Yeah but if they can make nothing into pre-alpha with a running server in 6 weeks,imagine how good the game will be by 2014.

Sounds almost too good to be true! Thank goodness its not!

Guys don't get disappointed with the 2014 thing,that's only like 3 months more then when we thought it was coming out, and we are not taking into consideration beta testing. Also I know why it's taking that long, they confirmed it's an MMORPG!!! Complete with tons of diverse worlds, PvP, and good combat. This game is going to be bigger then we thought, our expectations were lowered as soon as we saw it was free to play, but it's looking more and more like this game will be bigger and better then LU, as far as an mmo goes at least, it won't have the caliber of building LU had.

The way I figure it, it will be about 10 months of development and 2 months of Alpha and 6 months of Beta then launch. Just a hunch, though.

How did you guys get to be beta testers in the first place?

I've been following this news as well and I'm still wondering what the LEGO video slide is about. I requested to have a copy of the video..

Yeah i saw on the top it said LEGO video and i was wondering what that was about.

I predict alpha will be in like 3 months.

How do I apply to be a tester!? I really want to test this game since I didn't test LU.

You don't. Not yet. For Alpha, don't expect applications to be open.. It's going to be Friends and Family, I believe. Beta, however, will probably follow in LU's footsteps with a signup feature. But for that, you'll be waiting a LONG time..

Yeah alpha will probably be friends and family, I hope it's not though. Anyways, I think we will see a screenshot in the 4Q presentation report.

Yeah, it will. I hope there's a screenshot. I want to see how the graphics are, even if it'll be from Pre-Alpha.

We should do that, to be honest. We can use somebody like him to find those internal servers.

Nealy: Yeah they said it will have good graphics, and looking at their other games, i believe them.

Who is kevin? here is what i know. (Maybe they are talking about a diffrent kevin....)
Kevin was taking LU files and making a Private "Lu server" basically, he was one of the Re-Makers. he Hacked into LU, and stole LU files.
That is all i really know. his blog closed down, and is gone.

There are 2 slides in the presentation (http://www.funcom.com/investors/funcoms_third_quarter_financial_report_for_2012)
and one of them is called "LEGO Video". I guess that there was a video shown with the first looks during this presentation and requested a copy of it.

Not completely gone though, if you can say something bad about him, then he's here within the hour.

I don't think hacking into the client is the best thing to do right now. I guess we will have to wait until the 4Q presentation report, or maybe LEGO will actually say something about this game.
