Hmm. I didn't see anything on Funcom's YouTube channel. Is it a fan video you think?

Well, it may take years to finish. LU took about 7! Considering this game can scrap things from LU this may be reals end in 5-6 years. That is my speculation.

Lu took long cause they scraped it and started over, MANY TIMES. even when they decided on what the story is, they changed worlds. and songs. so that is why it took long. partly. another thing could be experience. and the partnership could have been worse. they probably started working on this game before lu closed. according to sources.

Someone on the messageboards made a very good point. He said that LEGO digital designer was used in LEGO universe and many LEGO features,so why not use LDD in the new game? Especially when they have updated LDD a lot recently. Maybe when the PR said LEGO and funcom will be working together on this mmo,LEGO's part was to mostly wrk on the building features,and funcom's was to mostly work on the rpg features and mmo layout. After i heard this it gave me more hope to believe that this will be an amazing game like all the LEGO and funcom people are saying it's going to be.

Exactly! They still have the files,so they can use it in the new game so that now all their hard work for LDD is now commercial.

NetDevil only made Web games. Never a PC game before. And Nenen has a good point there.

No they didn't. LDD just had a MAJOR update a few weeks ago. They just closed the part where you can buy your own models. LDD is still here.

Well, you can use it for concept and if you convert to LDraw files you can. But extracting the files and reverse-engineering the brick geometries isn't possible.

GUYS! BIG NEWS! JUST FOUND THIS ON THE FUNCOM WEBSITE! It's on there investor presentation report,and it's a report on all of there games. Here is what they said about the new LEGO minifigures game.

-It also said that core team established and should have their first "milestone" done this fall. I am assuming that the "milestone" means alpha testing,it would line up with other sources. Also if that guy was right about the game being developed in January,then the game should come out around June 2013,so it would be around my birthday,and that would also confirm it being 2013 as well!

Oh I thought they just took it down completely.

Did anyone read what i posted? Aren't you guys excited??? It's speculation time guys! What "unique" abilities do you think the minifigs will have. I hope they split certain minifigs up into certain roles,like people who heal,give imagination/power,damage people,stun people,and tank people who have tons of armor and attract enemies.

I wonder what my spartan will have!

I hope it will have LEGO Universe Customization. or something better. Other wise i would not be able to play since i have no minifigs from the series's.

I hope the Abilities are something you can kinda Choose.

You will be able to play even if you don't have minifigs,and i am sure there will be some sort of customization,especially since there will be a lot of in-game collection.

so assuming Funcom uses the newest version of their Dreamworld engine the game should look good graphically speaking. Idk I had a look around the other games and the visuals look nice. Just thought it interesting...

Yeah i already knew whether this game was client or browserbased it would have good graphics. But people seem to think that it won't have very good graphics.

Well, I don't really care about graphics. I am not picky. Although I don't want some 16 bit game( Minecraft is the only exception). Like Nenen said I want customization. It is LEGO so you will see it. LU did that well. To your mini fig to your prop. You had really had a lot of customization. May you rest in peace. ( BTW: The LU closing announcement anniversary is in 15 days. 11/8/12.)

Guys i looked at the first presentation report from back in May and it said that this game was in early development. So if it was in early development from May,then this game AT THE LATEST would be out October 2013.

@Steeler I wanted to do that! But never got the time, Thanks for doing it!
