To Everyone: Help!

Some of you may have heard of the Harry Potter Building Contest. 50 semi-finalists were chosen, and I was chosen! Now, I'm up for an online fan vote - this is where YOU come into play. I need your votes! Here's how it's done:

Sign in on your LEGO ID at Lego.com

Go to the products page, then to Harry Potter.

There is a tab that says "Contest". Click that.

Look for the entry called "Hogwarts Castle".

If you like it, vote for it!

Bad news: If I win, I will be headin to Las Angeles and I would be inactive here for a few days. So please help guys! Thanks!

Just voted! Man, the detail work on that is amazing! How long did it take to build? Do you have a guess on how many bricks is in it? And where did you get all the tan bricks?

I built it with my brother. Even with the 2 of us, it took a little over a month. I smashed it a long time ago (I regret that now that in know it won!). I have no idea how many bricks were used. The back had removable wall sections which revealed many of the rooms of Hogwarts. The Forbidden Forest and Ground were also in the back. So TONS of LEGOs were used!

I've always been a Harry Potter fan. I got the tan bricks from the countless Harry Potter LEGO sets I own. Thanks for voting!

My big plan for this creation was to take it to Brickworld, Chicago, but it proved to big to move without breaking, and I couldn't afford the fee. Maybe next year!

If you look closely, you may see a stain LEGO glass portrait of my gecko. I thought this was a nice addition to the castle. It is the only remaining part of the castle today.

Also, in the back and inside were lots of Piwer Fuctions. Another wall could be removed on the side to see a lit up chamber with an ogre chasing a Hogwarts student. This was the most fun LEGO creation I've ever made!

Like I said. Amazing job. I'm going to miss you while you're in LA.....

Too bad.... Do you have a plan for what you're gonna build if you get to LA?

I have no idea yet.... At the build off, we might have a theme to work under too, like build a Hogwarts classroom. So I'm still pretty unsure....

Yes. I've been looking at other Harry Potter sets. I'm going to try some techniques this afternoon. I'm gonna be prepared - just in case!

Ok. So you are in the Semi-finals, and you are still going to Las Angeles? That sounds cool. Weird that Lego would send all the semi's to LA when someone has not even won yet. Weird, but cool.

No he hasn't wont the Semi-Finals yet. I said that because his building is so amazing that I don't know how he wouldn't win.... Sorry for the confusion, it was my fault.
