Hey! I was checking out Jamessters's blog and he has new info on the LEGO Minifigures MMOG. According to a PDF, it will be Free-To-Play! Very Happy

“LEGO Minifigures” Free-to-play MMO Early development, core team in place


Here are some other quotes from the PDF:

"The Company signed a deal with LEGO in 2Q to
develop, launch and operate an online game based
on their highly successful Minifigures line."

"The Company has established a strong team to
build the LEGO online game, working towards the
first milestone later this autumn."

That's when they'll announce the game's development!

An 18 month development! They've already been working on it for 3 months, I'd guess.

Knowing LEGO, it wont be free to play (totally). They will charge you for extra features and places in the game but it looks fun!

Very, very cool! LEGO finally got it. We can't afford to pay $90-$120 a year for a video game.... Can't wait for more news! It's been way to long since we've heard anything.

Wel,l it's not LEGO really doing it. It's Funcom. I knoiw it'll be Free-To-Play. But then again, it didn't say anything about paying for items in-game...

Idk. I just want props. Re continue what I started! Maybe they can scrap some LDD LU Prop files. In case you did not know, all props from LU are in LDD. One thing I have to say is there is 128 mini figures now. (8x16). When the game is out there could be 176 (11x16)-192(12x16). That's a lot if choices!

Well like i said,i talked to a LEGO employee that said they have been working on this game since around January,which would put this game at about June 2013,which isn't that bad.
