Best Faction Screenshot Contest!

Show off your Faction skills, or simply just look cool in your Faction gear! Anything goes for the Faction Screenshot contest happening this weekend – as long as it has to do with Factions!

As a warm-up to Valiant Weapons, why not show that you have full mastery of the Faction Weapons already in LEGO Universe? If you are an Engineer, Quick-Build a turret to defend you against enemies or use your magnet ability to lift the enemies into the air and snap an awesome screenshot! If your allegiance lies with the Knights, you may want to exhibit your amazing skill by knocking enemies to the ground by means of your Knight Shield. If Space Marauder is your middle name, then maybe show us what your Space Marauder Launcher can do on the battlefield. Daredevils may want to flaunt their blazing ability to jump into the air and damage enemies when they land! Whatever you find too cool for words about your Faction, capture it in a Screenshot and submit it to the Creation Lab!



In Creation Lab, look for the challenge called “Best Faction Screenshot Contest” and upload your rad Faction photo to us for judging. You may enter as many screenshots as you like, but can only win once. You have until May 23rd to submit! Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges from the LEGO Universe Team.



The 20 best Faction screenshots will win extremely cool Alien Conquest sets and a Mega Brick Booster Pack. Did anyone say donation time at the Nexus Jawbox??

Please note that you can only win 1 LEGO Universe contest a month. This is a rule put in place to make sure that a lot of different players get to receive prizes!

The Details!
If you are a resident of the United States or Canada (and use the US website), you must submit your screenshot via the Creation Lab by 4:59 PM EST May 23rd, 2011.

If you are a resident of the United Kingdom (and use the UK website), you must submit your screenshot via the Creation Lab by 21:59 GMT May 23rd, 2011.

If you are a resident of Germany (and use the German website), you must submit your screenshot via the Creation Lab by 22:59 CET May 23rd, 2011.

Enter as many screenshots as you like before the May 23rd deadline! The top 20 winners will get their LEGO sets in the regular mail whereas the rest of the prizes will be distributed via in-game email.

How to take a screenshot from a PC:

1. Press the “Print Screen” button on your keyboard.
2. Go to your “My Documents” folder and open up the “LEGO Creations” folder. Inside you will find a “Pictures” directory, which will contain all of your LEGO Universe screenshots! The most recent picture will be your screenshot that you have just taken!
3. Submit your screenshot through the Creation Lab here.

How to take a screenshot from a Mac:

1. Hold down the “CMD” and “SHIFT” keys.
2. Press the number “3” key. The screenshot will automatically be saved to your desktop.
